Yalla vs HubSpot. One of these invoices is 4× the other.
Both will run your sales. Only one includes five users, unlimited contacts, WhatsApp broadcasts and AI for $139 a month — with no onboarding invoice stapled to the front. Here is the whole thing, numbers and all.
HubSpot is an enormous, genuinely excellent B2B platform priced three ways at once: per seat, per marketing contact, and a mandatory one-off onboarding fee. Yalla is a chat-first AI sales platform priced flat, with seats and AI bundled in and contacts unlimited. A five-person team on HubSpot Sales Hub Professional pays $6,900 in year one; the same team on Yalla Growth pays $1,668. And if your leads arrive on WhatsApp or Instagram rather than through a web form, Yalla does natively — multiple numbers, unlimited broadcasts, autonomous agents — what HubSpot needs a third-party tool to do at all.
The 30-second verdict
Pick the one that matches how you actually sell.
Nobody wins every row. Here is the honest split.
Choose Yalla if
Your leads land in WhatsApp, Instagram or TikTok DMs
You have 1–20 people and no RevOps team
You want the bill to stay the same as your list grows
You want AI writing, replying and booking from day one
A four-figure onboarding fee is not happening
Choose HubSpot if
You run long, multi-touch B2B cycles driven by email
You need custom objects and a bespoke data model
Attribution reporting is a board-level conversation
You have 40+ SaaS tools that all need to talk
You have budget and someone to administer it
The honest summary
HubSpot is deeper. Yalla is faster to value.
HubSpot bills per seat and per contact. Yalla bills flat.
HubSpot bolts WhatsApp on. Yalla is built on it.
HubSpot charges for onboarding. Yalla does not.
Most SMEs need the second one. Some genuinely need the first.

A team of 5 keeps $24,912 in the first year — Yalla comes in at 15.9× less than HubSpot.
HubSpot figures use published list prices billed annually, plus the one-time onboarding fees HubSpot requires on Professional tiers. Yalla figures use the annual Growth rate. Both exclude Meta’s own per-message WhatsApp fees, which you pay either way — you can estimate those with our WhatsApp pricing calculator. Teams of three or fewer can run Yalla Starter at $69/month and pay less again.

Beyond the table
Four differences that actually change your week.
1. HubSpot charges you for growing. Yalla doesn’t.
This is the one that catches people. HubSpot’s Marketing Hub prices in marketing contacts — Professional includes 2,000, and every additional block of 5,000 adds about $250 a month. Run a decent lead-gen campaign, import a trade-show list, and you cross a tier you never chose. The invoice moves before the revenue does.
Yalla has no contact tiers. One million contacts costs the same as one hundred: nothing extra. The only thing that changes your bill is adding a person to the team. That is a decision you make deliberately, not one a successful campaign makes for you.
2. WhatsApp is a plug-in for HubSpot. It’s the front door for Yalla.
HubSpot’s native WhatsApp integration is real and it works — on Professional and above, with one WhatsApp number per portal. If sales and support run separate numbers, or you have a number per branch, you are buying a third-party connector to sit between Meta and HubSpot. And because HubSpot treats WhatsApp as a one-to-one conversation channel, broadcasting to a segmented list isn’t something it natively does.
Yalla was built the other way round. Multiple numbers in one inbox, unlimited broadcasts to any segment, template submission and Meta approval handled inside the product, and Instagram, Facebook, TikTok DMs and email in the same thread view. If chat is where your business actually happens, that difference is not a feature row — it’s the whole job. See how it works on the features page.
3. HubSpot’s AI is a line item. Yalla’s is the product.
Breeze is capable, and on the right tier it does a lot. But what you get depends on which hub you bought and which tier you climbed to, and the credits are their own conversation.
Every paid Yalla plan ships with Yalla Brain and a monthly credit wallet — 500 credits on Starter, 1,200 on Growth — that powers everything: drafting replies in your voice, writing captions, generating images and video in AI Studio, and running Yalla Agents, which qualify leads, answer questions in 90+ languages and book appointments on their own while you sleep. One wallet, no add-on to buy, top up at about $0.10 a credit if you burn through it.
4. Onboarding: a $1,500 invoice, or a free Thursday.
HubSpot requires paid onboarding on Professional and Enterprise plans — $1,500 for Sales Hub Professional, $3,000 for Marketing Hub Professional, $3,500 to $7,000 at Enterprise. It buys you real help. It is also money spent before a single lead has been answered.
Yalla’s onboarding is free on every plan. Every Thursday we run a free 90-minute live workshop that sets up your content plan, your WhatsApp automation and your pipeline while you watch. If you’re near Kuala Lumpur and would rather we did the whole thing with you in person, the two-day bootcamp there is a one-time RM997 (Malaysian ringgit) and you leave with a live system and a trained team.
“Yalla runs almost everything customer-facing for us — it routes sales enquiries and support requests to the right person, sends our new investment offers to clients on WhatsApp, and even manages and publishes our social media. It’s like adding a whole team.”

We’d rather you picked the right tool than picked ours. HubSpot is a twenty-year-old platform with a scale of engineering behind it we are not pretending to match. Buy HubSpot if:
You need custom objects and a bespoke data model — quotes, subscriptions, assets modelled properly rather than squeezed into custom fields.
Multi-touch attribution reporting is something your board asks about by name.
Your sales cycle is long, email-led B2B with sequences, forecasting and predictive lead scoring doing real work.
You depend on a long tail of enterprise integrations — HubSpot’s 1,700-app marketplace is not a number we can wave away.
You have a RevOps hire, or an agency on retainer, whose actual job is administering the platform.
If three of those five landed, HubSpot is the better buy and the price is buying something real. If none of them did — and you are a small sales team whose customers message rather than fill in forms — you are about to pay enterprise money for enterprise problems you don’t have.

Common questions
Yalla vs HubSpot: the questions people actually ask.
Is Yalla cheaper than HubSpot?
For most small and mid-sized sales teams, yes — substantially. A five-person team on HubSpot Sales Hub Professional pays $90 per seat per month billed annually, plus a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee: $6,900 in year one. The same team on Yalla Growth pays $139 a month with all five users included and no onboarding fee: $1,668 in year one. The gap widens once you add marketing contacts or a second hub, because Yalla charges for neither.
What does HubSpot actually cost in 2026?
HubSpot’s published list prices are: a free CRM tier for up to 2 users; Sales Hub Starter at $9 per seat per month billed annually; Sales Hub Professional at $90 per seat per month annually ($100 monthly) plus a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee; and Sales Hub Enterprise at $150 per seat per month plus a $3,500 onboarding fee. Marketing Hub Professional is $890 a month for 3 seats and 2,000 marketing contacts, plus a $3,000 onboarding fee, with extra contacts at roughly $250 a month per 5,000. Marketing Hub Enterprise is $3,600 a month plus a $7,000 onboarding fee.
Does HubSpot work with WhatsApp?
It does, but with real limits. The native WhatsApp integration is available on Professional plans and above, and it supports one WhatsApp Business number per portal. If you run separate numbers for sales, support or different branches, you need a third-party tool sitting between Meta and HubSpot. Bulk WhatsApp broadcasts to a segmented list are not natively supported either — HubSpot treats WhatsApp as a one-to-one conversation channel. Yalla handles multiple numbers, unlimited broadcasts and template approval natively.
What is the best HubSpot alternative for WhatsApp-led sales?
If most of your leads arrive on WhatsApp, Instagram or TikTok rather than through a web form, a chat-first platform will fit better than a form-first one. Yalla puts WhatsApp Business API, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok DMs and email in a single inbox, adds broadcasts, pipelines, automations and autonomous AI agents on top, and prices it flat with unlimited contacts. That is the specific gap it was built for.
Does Yalla charge per contact like HubSpot does?
No. Contacts are unlimited on every Yalla plan, from Starter up. You are never billed more for growing your list, and there is no marketing-contact tier to accidentally cross. HubSpot’s Marketing Hub prices in contact blocks, which is where most of the surprise invoices come from.
Is there an onboarding fee for Yalla?
No. Onboarding is free on every plan, and every Thursday we run a free 90-minute live workshop that walks you through setting up content, WhatsApp and your pipeline. If you are in Malaysia and want us to build the whole thing with you in person, the two-day bootcamp in Kuala Lumpur is a one-time RM997 (Malaysian ringgit). HubSpot’s equivalent is a mandatory $1,500 to $7,000 onboarding fee depending on the hub and tier.
Can I migrate my HubSpot contacts and deals to Yalla?
Yes. Export your contacts, companies and deals from HubSpot as CSV, and we map them into Yalla contacts, custom fields and pipeline stages during onboarding. Most teams are live inside a week, and we keep both platforms running in parallel until you are happy to switch the tap off.
When is HubSpot the better choice?
When you are a larger B2B organisation with a dedicated RevOps function, a complex custom data model, heavy attribution reporting needs, or a long list of enterprise integrations to maintain. HubSpot’s reporting, custom objects and 1,700-app marketplace are genuinely best in class, and no honest comparison says otherwise. If that is your world, the price is buying something real.
Does Yalla have AI agents like HubSpot Breeze?
Yes — Yalla Agents are autonomous sales and booking agents included from the Starter plan up. They work your inbox around the clock: qualifying leads, answering questions in 90+ languages and booking appointments on their own. They draw on your plan’s monthly Brain credit allowance rather than a separate AI licence.
How long does it take to switch from HubSpot to Yalla?
Getting an account live takes about two minutes, and most teams have contacts imported, WhatsApp connected and their first pipeline running within a week. The 14-day free trial is deliberately long enough to run both platforms side by side before you cancel anything.
